While it may not seem like a big priority, you deserve a pickup truck cabin that offers a place to unwind. Now onto the heart of any pickup truck, otherwise known as the powertrain. Both of these vehicles start out around the same price-wise, but you’ll see a vast difference when comes to what their base trims equip underneath the hood. The 2017 Canyon includes a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine which can achieve 200-hp and 191 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2017 Frontier easily surpasses these numbers with its 4.0L V6 engine that can muscle out 261-hp and 281 lb.-ft. of torque. You’ll quickly be able to notice a difference, especially when it comes towing and payload capacity.  

Safety is another essential aspect, and the Frontier wins again with a wider range of standard and available features. If a collision was to occur, the Nissan Frontier has you covered, thanks to the Zone Body construction with front and rear crumple sections to absorb crash energy, and pipe-style steel side-door guard beams. The GMC Canyon, however, does not employ any sort of comparable elements with its frame. Another feature exclusive to the Frontier is the use of the LATCH System (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren), which allows you to secularly equip a child seat. Both vehicles do come with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System2, so you’ll be able to keep a close on the rubbers, but it’s still clear that the Frontier is better suited to offering peace of mind on the road.

I have terrible credit and I mean TERRIBLE and never expected to get a car from a 'real' dealership much less what I ended up with. I filled out some online applications trying to get approvals and potential numbers before I went into a dealership to avoid any frustration and disappointed, and most importantly not waste my time or anyone else's. After hardly any real nibbles (and a few offers for a low amount and high APR), I received a text and phone call from Meagan, the Special Finance Manager. This was different from previous dealers I was speaking with. I was clear about my situation (a car that was just totally upside down with 3 years to go, poor credit, only $1000 to put down, etc.) as well as payment and vehicle expectations. She assured me I was realistic and could absolutely get the deal done. I have heard that many times before and in those situations there was always something that prevented me from getting the deal done. I am sure I was annoying asking her to reconfirm that, and that I would be able to leave in the car the day I come in (it's about a 45 minute drive for me). When I got there, I was greeted by Ruben Rodriguez, who quickly verified what I was looking for, input my info and went to grab some keys while they appraised my trade. I was VERY confused when he took me outside and there was a BRAND NEW 2016 Pathfinder. I thought he was going to bring me back the 2012-2013 vehicle we were talking about, but apparently one of the finance people mentioned they could accommodate my desired payment with a brand new one! I almost didn't want to drive it because I didn't want to fall in love and then be disappointed. Phil, one of the Finance Team Members, came to talk to me and I was worried about the "good news/bad news" and scenarios that I could choose from based on my situation. He explained my options VERY thoroughly to me and I ended up choosing an option that while not the most ideal, allowed me to have a brand new car with 12 miles on it, full warranty, lifetime maintenance including FREE oil changes, tire rotations and car washes for life and a much lower APR than I had ever anticipated. I never ONCE felt pressured, like things were hopeless, and that it wasn't impossible for me to have a brand new car (payment may be higher than most, but with my credit and barely any money down, that is to be expected). Not to mention, in the past whenever I've been at a dealership, I can write off 5 hours of my life from start to finish, but I literally drove off that lot 3 hours from entering the door to exiting out of the parking lot (test drive, paper signing and everything -- BOOM! DONE!) I will recommend these guys to anyone! To those of you out there that think it's hopeless and you can't possibly get into a vehicle with poor credit, being flipped on trade, hardly anything down, keep the faith knowing that it IS possible!!!! Thank you Meagan, Ruben, Phil and Peter for helping me out and getting me into a beautiful new car! I will be back!

I was in this morning to have my Nissan Rogue serviced. They took my car right away and were very friendly and professional. I decided to take a look at a 2016 Rogue while I was here for service and ended up purchasing a new Rogue from Ruben. He was not pushy at all and was able to answer all of my questions. I had a great car buying experience at Windsor Nissan today. Roy, Dave, John and Pete were all professional, knowledgeable, patient and accommodating with me and my purchase. I went in there upside-down in my trade and left in a beautiful 2014 nissan altima. Dave and John we're honest with me about my financial situation and loan terms. They were funny and personal and most of all didn't take advantage of the fact I'm a woman who went to buy a car by herself. Roy was great in making me and my financial situation feel comfortable enough to take the 45 minute ride out there to make the purchase and Pete was through in reviewing every document with me that I was signing for the car. All of these gentleman took the pain out of the car purchasing process and made the few hours I spent there enjoyable and comfortable for me. I recommend dealing with any if these gentileman and this dealership especially if you are feeling insecure in a credit challenged car buying situation!! I just had the most incredible experience with Windsor Nissan. My transmission went the other day and I called several places who said the car was past its warranty and that my options were a new car or a new transmission for at least $4,000. I was about to spend the money on a new transmission when I reached the service team at Windsor Nissan and they researched and explained that I actually was eligible for an extended warranty and that they could fix my transmission at NO COST. No one else had checked this for me. I almost thought it was too good to be true, but it wasn't - they just went the extra mile to check with Nissan for me and to handle. I just picked up my car - complete with its new transmission (not to mention it was returned to me cleaner and shinier than it's been in years - I almost didn't recognize it) - and I am ecstatic. It's great to know that a car dealership went so far above and beyond to help me, when they easily could have just tried to sell me a new car or services.
